LOUD: Mind & Music is a student-run arts and music festival that engages, educates and empowers us all on the hot-button topic of mental health.
Through inspiring performances, art-making workshops and mental health resource booths, LOUD attendees will have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside their community in an effort to end the stigmas surrounding mental health.
Admission to the event is Pay-What-You-Can, with proceeds benefiting the I Will Help You Initiative so they can continue to grow their cause and save lives. Launched by The Ohio State University’s College of Nursing, this initiative spreads awareness and provides resources to identify and assist individuals who are struggling with mental health issues.
LOUD: Mind & Music provides people with a starting point to better understand this important topic, and aims to show those struggling with their mental health that there is a community that cares about and supports them.
The event will be held at TRISM (Columbus, OH) on April 20, 2018 from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Everyone is invited to join the movement, end the stigma and #GetLOUD about mental health!
