About Jai Hind Music Cafe:
JH Music Cafe is a student society dedicated to the promotion of diverse music genres by stimulating music education and cultivating a music culture in the community. It has successfully carried out several gigs and workshops that have truly helped in developing and enhancing the skills and portfolio of college musicians. It is a platform for upcoming and undiscovered artists; a place to showcase talent.

"Fused" is a live fusion music event consisting of some of the most talented artists in the college scene of Mumbai. For this event, each act must be a combination of two or more genres, creating a unique fusion of sounds never heard before!

Line up for the night:

- Kanishk Seth (Feature Artist of the Night)

Kanishk Seth is a Mumbai-based music producer and Indie-Electronic Artiste. He has been learning diverse kinds of music since the age of 5, and since then, has never stopped. He has composed and produced music on different Digital Audio Workstations, exploring and enhancing his knowledge about music. As an 18 year old he released his first album - ‘Trance with Khusrow’ as a music producer in collaboration with his mother. It was the world’s first ever Sufi- Electronic/ Trance Album. It was nominated for the Best Fusion Album at GIMA and Mirchi Music Awards. Alongside big names like AR Rahman, Ram Sampath and Indian Ocean. He recently released his first single, "Aane Ko Hai Khaab," and will be dropping his album soon.

- SwarPlug

SwarPlug is a Rock-Classical Music band and have won various college events with their unique fusion of genres The band members includes Kaustubh More, Shivam Kale, Shlok Chiplunkar, Sparsh Verma, Jason Sequeira and Hrishikesh Majumdar.

-Yash Warrier

A talented young singer-pianist who composes and arranges music. Having an experience of 10+ years in Mridangam, and learning Music Production for more than a year, music has clearly been a major part of his life. He is currently training in Carnatic Vocals and Hindustani. He is also preparing for his 8th Grade Trinity Examination for Piano and works on making Youtube videos in his free time.
He has performed with the likes of Usha Uthup, in one of her concerts in Mumbai, and has also performed and won 2nd place at IIM Indore Management Fest Atharv'16. He has actively participated and won in various college events.

- Fairy and Jazz

A duo of Devashri Manohar (vocalist) & Neerad Sumeet (pianist). They recently started a project called, "Fairy & Jazz", recreating old Bollywood songs with a rendition of Jazz. They've played in Mumbai, Pune & Indore and have performed at various places like NSCI, Anti Social, Habitat, Nicobar K ala Ghoda Cafe, White Owl,Cuckoo Club. They recently opened for this groovy indie band called "Neeraj Arya's Kabir Cafe" at Awestrung Festival at Phoenix Mills.
Their first original collaboration (EP) with the city's best college artists "Shaitan Ka Ghar" is streaming online on every major platform like Itunes, Saavn, Spotify, OkMusic.

- Aryaman Suresh

Aryaman Suresh, a second year BAF student from Thakur College of Science and Commerce, began his journey of beatboxing 4 years ago. He wanted to do something unique and was introduced to beatboxing, and has not stopped since. In his first year of junior college, he began to play the flute, and created a unique fusion of FluteBeatBox. He has won first place in Mumbai's Got Talent, Instrumental in Honor, Taarangan, Second place in Tanzania and Third place in Chakrawyuha, to name a few.

- Fallopian Dudes

The Fallopian Dudes are a cover band based in Mumbai formed by students from Jaihind college. They're known for playing songs by bands like Tame Impala and Wolfmother. The band played their debut gig at Kani 2017.
For Fused, The Fallopian Dudes will be playing a few classic rock hits layered with slices of gut punching, mind opening rap lines.
