IMPERMANENT PROJECT 002.7
I HATE MONDAYS #7
FEATURING: SENTIENT BEINGS | MULVA MYASIS | OCEAN FLAUTA
The time draws near yet again, my friends! This installment falls close to our pal Shana Palmer's birthday, and we decided it'd be good to celebrate with a night of only women performers. Just as important, though, is that it's a night of great artists, full stop!
SENTIENT BEINGS is the aforementioned birthday lady. It's her first solo show since moving to Portland (she played the first I Hate Mondays with Snakes on Grass, her collab with Oblivia and Ju Suk Reet Meate of The Tenses). A multidisciplinary talent, we can't wait to see what she pulls out!
MULVA MYASIS is the solo project of Noa Ver, also one-half of the killer throat-wave duo SEA MOSS. I've yet to see her perform in this incarnation, but recordings and videos promise a heavy abstract time, with a bank of oscillators and fried-wire home inventions at the ready.
OCEAN FLAUTA is the solo joint of the homie Flam Osterberg (also of the 'shrooms-fried folk/country concern MOUTH PAINTER), a true astral traveler. This might be the trippiest set of the night, but expect the unexpected over all else.
