Clay & Sip is a fun and unique way to uncork your creativity as an experienced local potter takes you step by step through the process of unleashing your inner artist while you paint a unique piece of crockery to add to your kitchen collection. All proceeds go to funding Call 2 Care's (NPO) Service Projects. For a low cost of R395 per person, you will receive a featured raw clay piece, clay paint, brushes, a delicious gourmet canapé meal prepared by Twaalf Community Kitchen, a glass of Rascillion wine to sip on while Cherie from CK-Ramics Pottery Studio guides you through creating an original piece of your own with any pattern you choose. Creative inspiration will be provided.

This event is one of a series of 6 events where at each event you will get the opportunity to paint 1 piece of a 6 piece set. Please note that all created pieces need to be fired and finished after you have painted them. It is recommended that you leave your pieces with us after the event. This takes about 2 weeks, and once the pieces are fired they will be available for collection at Twaalf Restaurant. You are welcome to take the raw pieces home with you after the event, but they will not look finished, will be brittle and be likely to break. Firing and completing the piece will ensure that they last longer and look glossy and this service is included in the fee.
