Tired of being an enlisted member of SPS? Want a shot at the captain's chair? We're looking for willing and able (bridge) officers to lead SPS on their future missions! Listed are the positions available (detailed descriptions in attachment):

President (Captain) - leads and barks orders
Vice President (First Officer) - leads and barks orders if the Captain's not around
Treasurer (Ship's Counselor) - financial diplomat, must have stable method of transportation for gathering CCT supplies (i.e. transporter, shuttlecraft, car, etc.)
Secretary (Helmsman) - steers the ship on the right course
Historian (Communications Officer) - captures and posts photographs via 21st century "social media"
Propagandist (Chief Science Officer) - writes emails and makes witty comments about science and beyond
Tutoring Chair (Navigator) - helps cadets navigate exams

Don't fret! All undergraduates of any year can try out for a position (exception: Captain, First Officer, and Ship's Counselor should be juniors/seniors). Even without prior experience, the bridge crew works together in order to run SPS and will provide valuable learning experience. Those members who aren't vying for a position are still encouraged to attend the election on Wednesday April 4th at 6:00PM (Stardate 95858.95) in NPB 2205.
