As most of you know, I will be taking part in the charity event ‘Island Charity Swim’ Saturday May 12. This is an 11km ocean swim that will be leaving Mudjimba Beach, swimming around Old Women Island – finishing at Mooloolaba beach. I will be completing the swim as an individual.
As part of the safety requirement you need a boat and a paddler. Paddlers are sorted, the boat is locked in, now to fill it with 10 of you AWESOME people!
Paul and Trina have so kindly and generously donated their boat and time – all for a good cause! The money raised goes to the kids at Nambour and Currimundi Special schools.
So, if you are keen to jump on board Paul and Trina’s super boat the invite is there for just ten of you! It is going to be a morning of fun, laughs, bomb dives and a few early morning drinks. Yes, your ticket includes platters, and a few drinks (hope you are keen for a few drinks at 7.00am). Or maybe just some orange juice.
So, if you would like to jump on the good ship lollypop - details are as follows.
You will meet Paul and Trina (and their luxurious boat) at 6.15am at the Marina (behind Parkyn Place) Mooloolaba. The cost for each person will be $80.00 which will cover your food and drinks and four hours of water fun. Remember, it all goes to the charity! Paul and Trina have been generous enough to donate their time, the boat and all the associated costs for you to have a great time and for us to raise a little more money for the kids!
If you want to support the day, you are more than welcome at the start line Mudjimba beach or the finish line at Mooloolaba beach.
Let me know if you are a definite! Hold your spot with payment and I look forward to the boat party! Dress ups are a must!
