UBS is excited to announce the kick-off of the 2018-2019 Consulting Workshop for sophomores interesting in recruiting for a 2019 consulting summer internship position. The workshop is a comprehensive guide to ensure that candidates are well prepared for recruiting season and equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle a case-based interview.
As the recruiting timeline is getting pushed up sooner and sooner every year, we are speeding up the process with a Consulting Spring Training Workshop starting Sunday of Week 3 (4/22) that will run for 5 weeks. The spring training will tackle the technical case-base aspect of the consulting interview, best resources to use, casing practice tips and overall interviewing strategy. At the end of spring training, students can apply to the Consulting Workshop that will start at the end of spring quarter and continue into fall 2018. The full workshop will give students a clearer timeline of the recruiting cycle as well as the opportunity to attend private information sessions and interact with multiple firms in a smaller, more personal setting to give the most qualified students at UCLA an opportunity to establish themselves in the consulting industry. Students of ALL majors and backgrounds who are interested in consulting are strongly encouraged to apply.
--If accepted, candidates MUST be available on Sunday evenings from 5:00PM - 7:00PM to attend ALL sessions and are expected to attend periodic private Consulting Workshop information sessions.
--The Consulting Workshop is open to current sophomores interested in summer internship recruitment and pursuing a career in consulting after graduation.
