UTD Cave Week...s
Join us in Tulum, QROO, Mexico for the first (1) of 5 UTD cave weeks that we will be conducting in this region in the 2018/19 cave diving season.
You will fly into Cancun on Saturday and then make your way to Tulum, staying through the following Sunday. We have a full menu for certified and non certified cave divers.
For classes during the week we will be offering:
OHP (Overhead protocols)
* Note I can arrive earlier or stay later if necessary and you want to take multiple classes.
For already certified cave dives we will be diving a wide variety of caves throughout the area. You can join other certified UTD and NON certified UTD cave diver on these cave diving adventures.
* Note you DO NOT have to be UTD certified to join us. Of courser you can only dive to your certification level even if with another agency.
An extremely special offering during these UTD Cave Weeks is that Adrian Sapota will be diving with us with his $40000 worth of camera equipment and lighting. He will be doing some amazing photography and will even teach you how to setup the cave for special lighting and photography sessions. These make some awesome cave pictures and memories.
As far as accommodations I bought a 3 bedroom / 2.5 bathroom vacation rental in Tulum , QR Mexico -
It is a great place for divers as it is a two level condo with a parking spot right in front and an awesome (secure) patio area in the back. This means you can back you car right up and take your equipment in, rinse it off in the back patio area with a hose and sink and hang it to dry. We also have a charging station and work bench with a diving locker. We have all the spares, hoses, spools, arrows, cookies, lights, fins, and so on to support your teaching or diving. We will have room for the first 2 guests to join us in the Vacation Rental. It costs about $240 per guest for the 8 nights.
We also have 12 single side-mount tanks and 3 sets of doubles for classes and/or diving during the week and can access additional as needed. The rental fee is $5 per day for single and $10 for doubles. As some of you might already know they are kept and filled at Protec and that cost about $6 per fill (nitrox) and $12 for doubles. So depending on how much you want to dive your cost will vary.
As far as transportation that we depend on who is coming, we rent everything from a car to vans. Those prices will vary too. Below is a full list of the Dates of UTD Cave Week..s
