WHAT: This year a coalition of Animal Advocacy Groups including Direct Action Everywhere, PETA, In Defense of Animals, Bay Area Animal Save and other groups are uniting to demand an end to the Fur Trade in San Francisco. Just recently, the city of Berkeley banned the sale of fur and we are asking public officials in San Francisco to do the same.
Join us in taking action on November 24th as we march for the many animals who lose their lives to the horrors of the fur industry, and for the right of every animal to be safe, happy, and free.
There will be smoke flares, fake blood, a disruption, protest, masks, and a die-in!
We encourage all forms of participation. All signs and leaflets will be provided. Please email us or post on this event page if you have any questions.
WHO: A coalition of Animal Rights Groups are joining forces to take action against fur. Is your group interested in joining this coalition? Please email: email@example.com

ABOUT THE FUR INDUSTRY
Animals in fur farms live in tiny cages and are denied opportunities to engage in natural behavior. Many develop psychotic and stereotypical behaviors – pacing back and forth endlessly, or gnawing on their cage doors – as their minds crumble under the stress of confinement. The end is even worse: many, improperly stunned, are skinned while still alive.
