The shift in seasons marks a time to shed our winter layers and welcome the energy of spring. Just like many mammals come out of their winter hibernation, we too can wake up from the dormancy of the darker months. We wake up from our sleep, or 'nidra'! Join Taryn in a special yoga nidra session devoted to peeling off our winter sheaths. Welcome spring with an intentional moment of rest and meditation and come out the other end renewed, restored and refreshed!
Yoga Nidra is part restorative yoga, part led-meditation. During a nidra practice, participants rest comfortably in savasana and are progressively led to deeper levels of imagination and relaxation. A nidra session ends with its practitioners feeling grounded and connected to the (often quiet) voice of the heart. Please come wearing comfortable clothing. We’ll be moving a little bit. Wear layers and cozy socks to keep warm! No yoga or meditation experience needed.
