Join Michael Litten as he interviews pediatrician Peter Scott!
He entered medical school in his native Indiana, after which he pursued training in pediatrics. He received subspecialty training in pediatric pulmonology at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis and The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
Initially joining the faculty at Indiana University, he moved his family to Roswell, Georgia, and established a practice in pediatric pulmonary diseases in Atlanta in 1987. He was especially active in the areas of asthma and cystic fibrosis and was the first Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Care Center at Children’s at Scottish Rite.
Dr. Scott retired from practice in 2015 and is active with the charity he co-founded, Miles for Cystic Fibrosis, and with his church, Roswell Presbyterian Church. He and his wife have two grown daughters and five grandchildren.
