Join Sophia on the 27th of April for Yoga Nidra.
This glorious practice is a deep form of active meditation also known as a Yogic Sleep.
Unlike when we go to sleep, Yogic sleep (Yoga Nidra) is one of deep consciousness and awareness.
We learn to be present and still and be the observer of the entire mental and physical experience we are having.
This is one of the most nourishing forms of Yoga practice.
Expect to feel restored afterwards as we delve deeply into a meditative state through the methods of Nidra.
What to expect...
Yoga Nidra is broken down into stages.
First beginning with setting a Sankalpa/ intention, we then go through 5 steps to reach our most desired state.
1. Rotation of awareness through the body
2. Awareness of Prana/Breath
3. Awareness of Feeling and Emotion
5. Return awareness back to your personal Sankalpa (intentions/wishes).
It is said that one Yoga Nidra practice is as beneficial to the mind and body as one whole nights sleep!
We look forward to seeing you there. Please book through our Mindbody app using the link below 🙏🏻
P.S. Please bring warm socks, a warm blanket or 2, a small cushion and any other cosy things so that you will feel comfortable laying down for an extended period.
