LADIES!!! Spring has arrived and this is the time of rejuvenation and new beginning. Our liver and gallbladder needs a boost to cleanse the blood and internal organs of impurities. When the body is overburdened with toxins, the liver may be stressed causing symptoms such as allergies, headaches, nausea, irritability, foggy thinking, muscle tension, skin eruptions, itching and fatigue. In women, PMS, fibroid tumors, and endometriosis CAN BE (not always) signs of liver stress, since the liver must process excess estrogens out of the bloodstream.
WHAT is included within the workshop?
The 3.5 hours open with a 20-minute Vinyasa flow, followed by a 90-minute Nutrition talk focusing on Spring cleansing (time for lots of Q&A). Then the final 90-minutes will include a Yin Yoga class, with massaging, tailored essentials oils and Yin sequence that will focus on stimulating the liver and gall bladder meridians we will focus on restoring a healthy flow of Qi, spring cleaning the body and releasing unwanted toxins.

🌱 Yin Yoga -
Yin Yoga is an internal practice which focuses on slowly and mindfully entering poses and holding those poses for longer periods of time. We invite a soft flow of breath into the body, allowing our body to naturally open up as the pose evolves. In Yin Yoga we apply moderate stress to the connective tissues, increasing flexibility to the body whilst releasing tension along our energetic pathways. We embrace this meditative practice bringing light to the darker corners of the body.
🌱 Essential Oils-
Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. The aroma travels immediately into the part of the brain that houses memory and emotions. The scent is processed, releasing neuro chemicals that can be relaxing, stimulating or sedative, depending on the essential oil being used. When you apply the oils topically to specific pulse points: wrists, behind the ears, the third eye, etc. you can also experience the effects on many other levels such as hormonal, digestive and lymphatic, just to name a few.
The power of touch should never be under-estimated! Massage helps the physical body by removing knots and adhesions in the muscles, releasing tension but also nourishing and supporting the emotional-self.
Yin Yoga, Essential Oils and massage harmonise perfectly with each other – providing all of the senses with what they need to move into balance. At the end of the session Aimee and Rosie hope you will walk (or float) away with more knowledge about essential oils but equally a feeling of tranquility and rejuvenation that is second-to-none.

Rosie is Nutritional Therapist (supporting women who want to ‘get their mojo’ back – www.rosielife.org ) and Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Therapist and Aimee is a Yoga Teacher, who specialises in Yin Yoga. Rosie and Aimee are joining forces to provide a 3.5-hour workshop that enables women to come and learn a little about essential oils, enjoy a restorative 90-minute Yin Yoga session (incorporating individual massage!) and leave at the end feeling super relaxed, rejuvenated and with quite literally a spring in your step.
