The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for a Moral Revival aims to build a broad and deep national moral movement to:
*End systemic racism, poverty, militarism, ecological devastation & related injustices
*Build a just, sustainable, and participatory society

The Intersection of these 4 issues is critical. The Campaign has emerged from more than a decade of work by grassroots community and religious leaders, organizations and movements. It is rooted in the leadership of poor people and challenges our nation’s distorted morality.
On the day after Mother’s Day, May 14th, tens of thousands of Americans will join together across the country, 1,000 or more in each state capitol, uniting from the bottom up, to launch the Poor People’s Campaign with six weeks of non-violent direct action focused on poverty, racism, militarism, and ecological devastation. This will be a historic turning point for the US.
Join us for a community information meeting to learn about this rekindling of the historic national movement begun in 1968 by Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This is his unfinished work and it must be finished! Come as a representative of your faith community or simply as an individual who says enough! Join us to find your place in the Campaign and how you can best support it. email@example.com
