The Second Annual Undergraduate Research Conferences will be held from April 11 -- 13, 2018 and here is what you need to know.

1) A new event has been added to the Turkeyen Conference. This event – Rock the Boat – will be held on April 11, 2018 (08:30 – 12:30) and it will feature presentations from a panel of faculty members on undergraduate research experience at UG. This panel will facilitate conversations about what we do and how to improve the experience of our undergraduates.

2) The April 12 event at Turkeyen will focus on the work of students. It will include presentations of completed research and proposals. Depending on the submissions, we may have posters. This year, we expect to have displays from the Visual Arts.

3) The April 13 event at Tain will focus on the work of students from the Berbice campus. Like the Turkeyen conference, the conference at Tain will feature presentations of completed research and research proposals and may also include posters.

4) The Keynote addresses be delivered at Turkeyen by Professor Maya Trotz (Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, University of South Florida) and at Tain by Dr. Areefa Alladin-Karan (Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Guyana).
