June 12 - Monster in the Mind: The Convenient Un-truth about Alzheimer’s.

We will be showing this film in honor of Brain Awareness Month. At age 85, Jean Carper, a leading authority on health and nutrition, has directed and produced her first documentary film. It was the official selection of many international film festivals and has received rave reviews from top opinion makers, researchers and Alzheimer’s publications. Following the movie, there will be time for Q&A with Elizabeth Hagemann, Education and Outreach Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter and Chelsey Byers Gerstenecker, Family Life Educator from University of Illinois Extension.
