University of Illinois Extension presents a summer movie series of tough family topics. Come out and join us from 6–7:30 p.m. in our auditorium (801 N. Country Fair Dr.) for a movie, popcorn and discussion. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend.

July 10 - The Heroin Project

Join us in watching a short documentary by Ashley Seering & Cory Byers that raises awareness of the heroin problem in and around Madison County as well as in southern Illinois. Beyond the monetary cost of increased law-enforcement and efforts and goods stolen from businesses, the negative effects of heroin are more accurately measured in the ever-growing number of young lives lost. The goal of the project is awareness and action toward a solution to the heroin problem. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A discussion panel with law enforcement and health experts.
