--Interfaith Shabbat--
Date: April 6, Services 5:45 pm, Dinner 6:30 pm
Interfaith Shabbat, on Friday, April 6th, will be a celebration of the end of Passover and Easter, and is sponsored by Catholic Student Union, Wesley Foundation, Lutheran Campus Ministries, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Student Association. This Shabbat will be comprised of a more-explanatory services (much like Shabbat 1001 earlier this semester) and semi-constructed dialogue at dinner to create interfaith allies and discussion within the religious community on campus.
**Food will be Kosher for Passover.

--Mimouna: A Post-Passover Feast--
Date: April 7, 8 pm - 9 pm
Minnesota Hillel
Description: Celebrate the end of Pesach at MN Hillel’s Mimouna! Mimouna is a Moroccan Jewish celebration at the end of Passover with traditional foods and music. It’s traditional to invite your neighbors - so make sure to invite any friends who may want to celebrate!

--Matzah Ball Soup on the Bridge--

Description: Whether it’s a spring cold or a stressful week, start off your Monday with a hot, delicious bowl of matzah ball soup! Nicknamed “Jewish penicillin,” matzah ball soup is a popular, Ashkenazi Jewish staple. Particularly during Passover, but served year round, matzah ball soup is good for the body and the soul!

--Jewish Folk Dancing--
Date: April 9, 6 pm - 7 pm
Location: Recreation and Wellness Center - MP 7
Learn fun circle dances and line dances traditional to Jewish communities! These “Rikudei am”, or “dances of the people”, are performed at Jewish celebrations across the world. They were mostly choreographed in Israel with influence from eastern European folk dancing. This event is free for all students and members of the community.

--Jewish Comedy Night with Fund Aurora--
Date: April 10, 7 pm - 8:30 pm
Location: Minnesota Hillel
Minnesota Hillel and Fund Aurora presents: a night of Jewish and feminist comedy, paired with Israeli wine and cheese. Come for a laugh and a good cause with three local comedians! Raffle tickets are available for raffle prizes from local business and will be raffled throughout the event so you don’t want to miss out on a chance to win! All proceeds will go to the Fund Aurora campaign; donations are encouraged. Donations can also be made online at z.umn.edu/FundAurora2018.

--Yom HaShoah Commemoration--

Please join Minnesota Hillel, AEPi, and SAEPi to honor the heroes of resistance and commemorate the 6,000,000 Jewish victims of the Holocaust on Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.

--Lunch & Learn: Jewish Diaspora History--

Nourish your body and intellect with a kosher lunch and a conversation about the history of Jewish Diaspora. We will overview the history of Jewish Diaspora and analyze art, writing, and other forms of expression that tell us about the complexity of Jewish history across the world.
