This course focuses on the manifestations of oral traditions in the Spanish-speaking world from both theoretical and applied perspectives. Participants will learn how to document oral material and will learn how to archive written versions of collected traditions, as well as the formal characteristics, themes, and social contexts that characterize the genres in question.
