The Los Angeles Aging Advocacy Coalition’s Annual Summit on Aging is a one-day conference exploring policies that impact older adults and caregivers. Every year, the Summit brings together new and experienced movers and shakers in the aging world to inform one another on current issues, educate legislators and stakeholders on the future of aging, and engage attendees to be the voice for older adults and their caregivers.

The theme of this year’s conference will be:

Aging Policy: From Defense to Offense

The conference will focus on the role of media, funders, and individuals in shaping aging policy. A deep dive will be taken into the current landscape of healthcare, housing and immigration. Attendees will gain insights into shaping aging policy that moves these sectors from defense to offense, in order to prepare for an increasingly aging population.

Los Angeles’ 9th Annual Summit on Aging will be held on Friday, June 1st, 2018 at the University of Southern California Ronald Tutor Campus Center Ballroom.

Summit on Aging 2018 will feature...

Expert panels discussing policies in aging

Current landscape of policy development and implications

Resource Center with information and tools

Prime networking with over 400 attendees

The 9th Annual LAAAC Summit on Aging will feature dynamic speakers from the public and private sectors, as well as panel discussions designed to stimulate a vibrant dialogue about pertinent issues and "how to" best promote change.
