If you have ever wanted to research an unfamiliar topic, chances are high that you looked to a book to provide more information on the subject. If you have ever wanted to get to know more about your fellow humans, in the same way, UNT's Human Library offers a safe and supportive space to help you learn. By attending Human Library, you can look through a catalog just as you would in a traditional library, select a 'book' that you are interested in, and sit down with the book to 'read' by having a conversation with the person representing the title.

After engaging in these conversations, our hope is that you will gain empathy and understanding about another person's reality.
