Volunteer to Help Stop Invasive Garlic Mustard!

Get Directions

#var:page_name# cover

Help Minnesota State Parks and Trails stay healthy by joining retired science teacher Joe "the Garlic Mustard Man" Gartner to learn about the invasive threat of garlic mustard. After you learn how to ID this plant, join Joe on a hunt to look for garlic mustard, and if found, pulling it. Pulling is easy and a wonderful activity for families, groups, and scouts to help volunteer in State Parks. Gloves, long sleeves, long pants and boots are recommended. Don't forget to bring a water bottle. For more information contact Joe Gartner, 507-276-8326, Jlgz1@juno.com (prefer my email)
The public is invited to attend. The programs are free however a State Park permit is required for vehicles entering in State Parks.
