☑️ Check-In upstairs on the Clubhouse verandah.

🚗 Parking: Parking fees apply until 9 p.m. on week nights on the UQ St Lucia Campus. Parking inspectors check most nights.
Parking costs $5 per day (or part thereof) in Blue Zones such as along Sir William Macgregor Drive (next to the river) or $2.50 per hour capped at $7/day in Grey Zones such as the car park under the Synthetic Playing Fields) or $2.50 per hour in Red Zones such as along Blair Drive and in the UQ Centre Carpark (next to swimming pool). Fines are $55 (for parking in a designated parking area without a permit) or $110 for parking in a non-parking area (such as on yellow lines). UQ pursues unpaid parking fines through the courts.

UQ now uses an electronic PAYG parking system called CellOPark which uses a free smartphone app. (available from https://www.cellopark.com.au/) and eliminates the need for paper tickets. Payment can also be made by coins or credit card using ‘Pay by Plate Machines’. However, there are only a few of these machines. Along Sir William Macgregor Drive, they are located near the Rowing Shed, near the old CityCat Terminal (opposite the Tennis Courts) and opposite the Swimming Pool. Along Blair Drive they are located opposite the Swimming Pool and next to the Beach Volleyball Courts.

N.B. Although the vehicle licence plate number has to be entered into these ‘Pay by Plate Machines’, no lighting is provided (so a torch is handy).
