Urban Sprouts in Renton, WA (just outside of Seattle!) and I are collaborating to bring you a wonderfully creative event. We'll have makings for mimosas and mala necklaces and/or bracelets! On that note, join us and devote time to allow your creative spirits to play together. Now is always the perfect time to create meaningful and powerful art to focus on those personal intentions and bring them with you. In this workshop, you have the opportunity to customize a mala beads necklace that expresses your unique story and style! With several types of natural stone beads, you'll tap into your creative flow to design a 108-bead knotted mala necklace and/or bracelets. You'll end up with a piece of art you wear and will always cherish.

The word “mala” means "heavenly garland" or "necklace", and it is used as a tool for meditation or prayer and as a beautiful talisman. To use it, typically one speaks or thinks on the name of a deity, intention, or affirmation while touching each bead. Over time, the more you use it, the more powerful it becomes, and the more peaceful, aware, and tuned in you become. I love the idea of the mala, believing that when you use it for meditation or mindfulness, you carry those positive intentions with you."

The $45 investment covers the guest instructor's fee + a $10 credit for you to use towards your mala making supplies - you choose what you make!
