See inside Urrbrae House built in 1891 for pastoralist and philanthropist, Peter Waite, and later bequeathed to the University of Adelaide. Explore the public rooms of this elegant, heritage listed house at your leisure. Try writing with a nib pen and ink in our recreated Victorian schoolroom. Tour guides in costume will be on hand to answer questions. Wheelchair access is available to the top floor only of the house. The beautiful house gardens, including the Twentieth Century Rose Garden, are open to visitors until sunset.

Access to the lower level of Urrbrae House is via stairs only. Disability parking is available at the rear of Urrbrae House; enter via Waite Campus Gate 3 off Waite Road, Urrbrae and proceed west. Wheelchair access to Urrbrae House is by the glass door on the eastern side of the building
