Business Ideas is an event organized by USI Università della Svizzera italiana (Official Page), SUPSI Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana and CP Start-up; part of the federal Start-up Program supported by Innosuisse. This event is a half-day training course focused on Entrepreneurship and exclusively open to students of universities and universities of applied sciences and arts.
The 2018 Edition will take place on 19th April 2018 at Auditorium USI (Via G. Buffi 13, 6900 Lugano). The course will provide the participants with the possibility to meet entrepreneurs and with the chance to expose their own entrepreneurial idea through an elevator pitch. Students with an interesting idea who want to pitch it, should declare it in the registration form. The submitted proposals will be evaluated by the organizers and the selected candidates will have few minutes to synthetically present their idea and to convince the jury members. The best idea will be awarded and feedbacks will be provided to everyone for continuing the project.
It is compulsory to register to the event by the 8th April at the latest through the following link (https://goo.gl/forms/7E9w86HwopOEaAD02). Those who desire to expose their own entrepreneurial idea are kindly asked to fill in the fields related to the idea description and to respect the following rules. The rules of elevator pitch:
Around 3 minutes for the presentation
Any kind of support (ppt, …) is not allowed
The presentation can be held by more than one person (remaining on the allowed time duration)
The ideas will be evaluated by experts, who will award the best one
The total award of 2'000.- will be divided into cash and support for the initial phase of the project implementation (further information will be given to the winner regarding the fruition of the award).
Creative Hub @Business Ideas: This year the Business Ideas program opens to the world of design businesses with the presentations of the designers-entrepreneurs from Creative Hub. Creative Hub is the first platform at a national level that supports Swiss designers in the development of their products and entrepreneurial projects. Creative Hub in collaboration with the Laboratory of visual culture SUPSI joins the event Business Ideas with the contributions of Regula Staub, director of the Creative Hub Platform.
