The Women’s Resource Center welcomes women across all intersections. The voices of women, especially women of color, ability, poverty, sexuality, and other marginalized backgrounds have often gone unheard. Here at the WRC, we recognize that every woman’s experience is different. We want to celebrate the diversity of all, as well as promote solidarity amongst women on UWM’s campus community and beyond.
On April 17th the Women’s Resource Center is hosting a writers workshop focusing on important topics like economic security, gendered bodies, sexuality, and family. This workshop is designed to help women express their individuality in creative ways as well as to just have a little fun. This event is open to students and the UWM community!
Please bring a pen and notebook!
