Reach Your Peak: A Women’s Retreat
Combining Nature and Mindfulness to Rejuvenate, Refresh, Restart

Everyone deserves to take a break. And everyone has an excuse (s) why they can’t. They’re all good reasons
• get the kids to their programs
• make sure the parents are getting where they need to be or being cared for
• make that deadline at work
• finish writing the proposal
• go through that pile of bills
• Save the money for the unexpected
• reconcile the bank statements
• put the boxes of pictures in albums
• clean the house
• organize the family reunion
• answer weeks of unanswered emails…..

Do they sound familiar? They should because these are just some of the many reasons that keep us so busy that we don’t have time to slow down, let alone stop. It seems impossible, even irresponsible to leave for three days. But that’s precisely why you need to do it. Think of yourself as a computer. What happens when you have a gizzillion windows open? Your computer slows down and you can barely get anything done because everything is taking forever. What do you do to fix it? Turn it off and restart. And that’s exactly what our three days in beautiful Vail, Colorado will be. A chance to shut down and restart. What better way than to be outdoors in the middle of gorgeous mountains and prairie flowers energizing our bodies by hiking, biking, horseback riding or rafting. Aside from the activities outdoors, we will have two special professionals join us to enhance our weekend. Ellen Guggenheim of EG Results will provide insights and exercises to attain growth, fulfillment and impact in group and individual coaching sessions. Add to that guided morning meditations or yoga, de-stress techniques and positive energy producing sessions by Natalie Goldfein, founder of My Habit Upgrade, Inspiring Energy and Natalie Goldfein Consulting. She is an educator, organizational trainer and certified instructor in the ancient practice of Qi Gong. And if that wasn’t enough to make this getaway fantastic, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and connect with amazing women who all have something to share, offer and support.

1. for Vail Bike Tour Join Charter Sports for a thrilling, yet easy coast down 3,000 vertical feet on the Vail Pass paved bike path. Immersed in lush mountain splendor, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, waterfalls and fresh mountain air. If you are riding to Vail, the path extends along I70 on the bike path, along the Vail Golf Course, Vail Village and into Lionshead. It is a unique and exhilarating way to experience Vail.

Saturday July 14

It’s inevitable that we come in contact with stressful situations….it’s how we respond that makes the difference. Come try on a few new techniques to help you manage better in a stressful world.

9:45 Leave for Piney River Resort- Set on the edge of Piney Lake, and nestled at the foot of the majestic Gore Range, Piney River Ranch is a private, forty-acre Rocky Mountain retreat. We will hike. The Upper Piney trail begins at the end of Red Sandstone Road, outside of the Piney River Ranch entrance, and ends at Upper Piney Lake, and is roughly 7 miles each way. Begin your journey outside of the ranch (where public parking is available), pass Piney Lake and gently climb through an open meadow before entering the forest and reaching a cascading waterfall about three miles in.
1:15 Lunch at the lodge (not included)
2:30-4:00 Canoe and/or paddle board on the lake
4:30 Return to hotel
