Every kid deserves to enjoy happy holidays. But hundreds of parents in PRISM’s service area struggle to make ends meet. Putting food on the table, keeping the lights on, paying the rent, and providing proper winter clothes are their challenges and priorities. There just isn’t any money left for presents at the holidays.
On December 16, 2017, PRISM’s Holiday Toy Shoppe will put a little magic into their holiday season, and make a joyful, exciting holiday possible for 1,000+ kids.
HOW CAN I HELP FAMILIES IN NEED OF GIFTS?
• Donate Gifts
1. Organize a holiday gift drive with others or pick up extra gifts the next time you shop. Contact Dan, Community Engagement Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell him about your drive and arrange logistics. Drop off your new, unwrapped gifts to PRISM by 12/14.
2. Skip the trip to the mall, and shop online at www.tinyurl.com/prismwishlist! Our holiday wish list makes it easy—just order and ship unwrapped items directly to PRISM by December 14.
Helpers are needed from December 14 - 16 to sort donations, set up the event, assist with distribution, and help clean-up. Sign up to volunteer here: http://signup.com/go/ioYgexL or contact Kevin, Volunteer Coordinator, at email@example.com. Please note that volunteers must be age 12 or older.
HOLIDAY TOY SHOPPE DISTRIBUTION EVENT:
The event will take place on Saturday, December 16, from 9:00AM - 2:00PM, at Valley Community Presbyterian Church (3100 Lilac Drive North, Golden Valley, MN 55422).
