Namaskar is a Sanskrit word for salutation. Yoga students are most familiar with a various Sun Salutations and the Evolutionary nNamaskar has particular focus on screening and therapy applications.
The Evolutionary Namaskar is a sequence of movements that mimics an infant's developmental process to build strength, motor control, and proprioception to allow the infant to stand upright and walk. The Evolutionary Namaskar offers unique movements for the student to help them assess their range of motion as another form of inquiry.
