Format Booster Draft
3 Masters 25 Boosters
Booster Draft is a fun format where you get to keep cards you play with.
Everyone opens their first pack, you pick one card and then pass it to the player to your left. You then pick a card from each pack until all the cards have been picked.
You have time to review your picks.
Then the next pack is opened, you pick a card and then pass to the right this time. Then packs are passed again.
You have time to review again.
Third pack is then drafted passing to the left again.
Then you get 10-20 mins to put your deck together.
This is a fun way to open boosters, you can also get cards you need. E.g. if you have a black white allies deck you could pick allies to help your deck.
Please confirm attendance so we can set aside enough product to draft with.
So a few house rules
Please arrive on time, with 5 rounds of magic potentially possible we’d rather run the conventional 50 mins so we can finish for midnight rather than shorten round length.
Once the last match of a round has finished we do aim to enter the last results and pair the next round. Please be prepared to play promptly at this point, try and have smoke breaks when you finish your match, not the last match or friends. This allows the event to run smoothly and finish Friday rather than Saturday.
Please remember to do your own house keeping, the Chris and Mark concierge service will be monitoring players tendencies for leaving rubbish e.g. cans and booster wrappers.
If you are unsure of a game interaction, please speak to myself (Mark) if you are unsure. I will attend your table and make a ruling. I can speak away from the table should the question warrant it but I cannot coach, only answer specific questions.
Play nicely ! Be polite and courteous to your opponents, games should be played in a good spirit. Please remember to gracious in both victory and defeat.
