The Slovak-American Café, a talk show featuring successful Slovak Americans & American Slovaks, invites you for the next round. This time with Dr. Bibiana Bieleková, a physician-scientist and a passionate photographer.
Come and join us on April 11 at the Slovak Embassy. RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org by April 9. Hurry! Seats are limited.
At work she uses logic, data, algorithms and computations. She knows how to generate and applies knowledge. But that is not sufficient for healing. Intellect must merge with caring and creativity.
In 2005 she became the director of the Waddell center for multiple sclerosis and associate professor of neurology with tenure at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Bielekova is currently a tenured senior investigator leading Neuroimmunological Diseases Section at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. In her opinion people must stop. People must stop thinking about themselves; people must stop seeking gains... And that is where photography enters in her life.
Dr. Bielekova had strong interest in graphic design since her childhood. In the last ten years she focuses her photography on landscapes, traveling broadly in North and South Americas and Europe. Her landscape photographs can be seen at https://500px.com/bibimailsk.
You can see her photo exhibition „In love with Earth“ in the premises of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic.
