The role of sustainability and co-creation in addressing the needs and potentials of complex human settlements (Betydningen af bæredygtighed og samskabelse med henblik på at imødekomme behov og potentialer i komplekse menneskelige bosættelser)
Can refugee camps and informal settlements overcome their temporary but de facto permanent reality and become flourishing sustainable settlements? How can sustainability and the inclusive and democratic participation of residents have a role in improving the conditions of these complex urban and rural realities? This seminar will take us through a sociopolitical and philosophical dialogue about people’s right to have a voice in the development of the places they live, which implies to see reflected their needs and aspirations in the urban, to shape their city.
