The 4th Annual True Leaders in Service is underway in our community. True Leaders in Service is an annual, nation-wide campaign to encourage youth to implement a service project that culminates on the National 4-H Day of Service, which is Saturday, April 28, 2018.

The 4-H Teen Council Leadership program has identified the need for blankets to be given to the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital, the Ravalli County Sheriffs Office, and Emma's House. The teens have a set a goal of creating 50 fleece tie blankets to serve the youth in our community to support them during a traumatic time.

We need your help in reaching this goal. Here are ways your organization can empower youth to make a difference in our community:
-Donate funds to Ravalli County 4-H to purchase materials
-Donate fleece in new, clean and smoke-free condition that is at least 1 yard (3 feet) in width
-Give your time by making a fleece tie blanket and donating it to the cause
-Donate your skills by joining us on Tuesday, April 24 at 7 PM, Victor School Multipurpose Room to making the blankets from donated materials. Please bring fabric scissors. Refreshment provided. Kindly RSVP to the MSU Extension Office at 375-6611, ravalli@montana.edu or at our Facebook event through our Ravalli County 4-H Facebook page.

Would you be willing to support our teens to enhance our community?
