This lecture-based workshop is designed for those who have already attended previous Intro to Audio Post-Production workshops or for those who have some prior experience mixing and editing audio for picture. We will be exploring advanced editing tools and techniques to bring your audio up to professional standards. Make the most of noisy or damaged location audio, slice and dice dialogue with total precision and generate all manner of sound effects and ambience with confidence and joy! We will be using Pro Tools, Izotope RX6, Ableton Live and a few other gems but much of the topics discussed will be applicable to most any DAW.

About the instructor:
Andy Rudolph is obsessed with sound. His work spans nearly all facets of audio creation including: musical composition, performance, interactive installations, audio engineering, post-production and most points in between. He has performed and exhibited around the world, garnering impressive reviews. He also serves as Video Pool’s Audio Tech & Education Coordinator and teaches a Digital Art class at Art City.
