Fitch Mountain Fund invites you to join us and invest in our crown jewel at Fitch Mountain Forever Fundraiser & Hike on April 22nd when we will celebrate Earth Day and kick off the countdown to the Fitch Mountain Park & Open Space Preserve opening. This fun event will include activities for the whole family, BBQ, beer and wine, a hike and live music, including a small auction led by Senator Mike McGuire.

Together we have a lot to celebrate on April 22nd! The top 173 acres of Fitch Mountain is owned by all of us and it will forever be public land. This wouldn’t have happened without our community’s unwavering support.

Throughout 2017, our land stewardship partner, LandPaths, continued their hard work on fire suppression, native habitat enhancement and community outreach. Today, Fitch Mountain is safer than ever, and record numbers of our community are connected and engaged in co-creating this amazing public park which we’ll all enjoy for decades to come. This year, the city will begin the work to develop park amenities, improving access and adding trail markers to the landscape of Fitch Mountain. The park is there for everyone in the community to enjoy and we hope you will soon have the opportunity to get out on this beautiful mountain in our backyard.

The Fitch Mountain Fund was created to enable a strong and enduring partnership with the City of Healdsburg, to make sure that there are always funds to steward and protect our beloved natural resource. We couldn’t have gotten to where we are now without your support and we need it now more than ever. The work to preserve, protect and enhance this incredible natural resource has just begun. Wildlife protection, habitat enhancement, invasive species eradication and erosion control are annual tasks that will require organization, planning and funding.

Individual tickets are $25 and family tickets (family of 4) are $40. Kids 12 and under are free. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
