Children ages 6 to 8 can participate in a discussion of My Brother Charlie by Holly Robinson Peete on Thursday, April 19, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Children’s Department at the Vineland Public Library.
A girl tells what it is like living with her twin brother who has autism and sometimes finds it hard to communicate with words, but who, in most ways, is just like any other boy.
Participants will receive a free copy of the book to be discussed when they register, while supplies last. Registrants must attend the book discussion if they pick up a book. Funding for the giveaway books is provided by The Friends of the Vineland Public Library.
Children younger than age 9 must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the library.
