Dj Holy Chao

Unity Division

UNITY DIVISION is a LIVELY fun silicone-free Rock-Punk-Folk-Ska band from south-east London, writing their own material blending raw, sensuously electrified acoustic energy !

SERENA leads with an exciting vocal tone, brickwall guitar and a visual feast of onstage mid-song costume changes, whilst DRU has a pure, sweet voice melding his haunting vocals with the dichotomy of angular rhythm guitar and a little thunderous bass noise

Vince Cullen the drummer dishes out massive kicks and interesting beats

Punk/folk rhythms and chainsaw guitars mash with soaring heartfelt harmonies. Unity Division write lyrics that are heart-wrenching in their honesty - delivered with a passion, singing of conscientious living, good vibes, DIY ethics and positive self-awareness. It's all bundled up within a sense of fun and festival spirit

Serena's musically history traces back to all-girl punk band Seventh Seal. Dru sang backing vocals on BILLY BRAGG's "Don't Try This At Home" alongside MICHAEL STIPE

Tristan Burfield

The artist has been described by a new band a day as a modern day electro "polymath". His music often incorporates lo-fi elements such as videogames, toys, junk, glitches and noise. His sound refuses genre and rejects lazy and outmoded cliches.

Tristan has played shows throughout the UK, and is becoming a regular staple on the festival circuit (Bring Yourself Fest, Toiletronica, Bristol Ashton Court Festival and Cambridge 'Be sure for the song has no name' festival). His music has recieved airplay on mainstream Radio (Radio 1, XFM, Resonance FM).

Recently his projects have been enhanced by the encorporation of visual elements, his music has been used as an accompliament to a silent surrealist film [Blood of a poet], combined with small format film [Shimmies in Super-8] and has been juxtaposed against found manipulated material [Shadow Pictures]. The visual strand of his work has been strengthened via a series of Photographic exhibitions shown in galleries such as Colchester slackspace and Norwich Art Centre. Tristan has released CDR's, floppy disks and tapes on labels such as Quagga Curios Sounds and Underground Pollution. He has released music via Net labels such as Monkey Love Records and Mute Sounds and continues to release music through his own label.

D.j Holy Chao (the D.j. stands for discordian jackass)

Masked and costumed experimental electronica nonsense discordian chaos magician performance artist.

HC started out life as part of the meta fictional live drum programming a sequencing group "beats of madness" he was the only member to escape their fictional confines and has since launched a solo career featuring toys, small keyboards, phone apps, and various synths, his performances often have a ritualistic and cartoon like quality to them.

He has released albums on black iron kisses and has performed at Big Deal 7, new river studios for noisevember, hackney wick take back art battle, and the ever loved and illustrious Vinyl Deptford.

He will be launching a new album.

Formed some number of years ago as part of the infamous cage against the machine campaign and work on "cageian" principle that all sound is music, the work with field recordings and explorations, found makeshift and homemade instruments, and also normal instruments but used in a strictly abnormal and conceptual manner.

Last year they debuted their piece for amplified and accoustic fidget spinners at Linear Obsessional Recordings regular event at the Lewisham Artscafe, and have released one album of field recordings and environmental explorations on black iron kisses

On this occasion they will be running a small workshop to show people the ease with which you can construct a small but effective wind instrument, in this case the disarmingly title "fart tube" and this will follow with an open participation performance.

Anyone can perform as or release soundworks as 4'33'society.
