UF Law presents an engaging 3-day event April 2-4, 10am-2pm each day for students, faculty, lawyers and judges to come together to inform and increase awareness with domestic violence, intimate partner violence, stalking, and sexual violence.
*** WEAR PURPLE any or all days to show your allyship to everyone impacted by domestic violence.
*** SHARE your voice. Make a personal pledge for equality and consent and post on social media under #NoMore. What does respect, love, and consent look like to you?
*** DONATE one or more hygiene products to the FAWL & LAW Tampon Drive for Peaceful Paths Domestic Abuse Network- feminine hygiene, or soaps/shampoos. Donation receptacles will be available in the courtyard.
Day one, Monday, April 2nd
- 12 pm in HOL 180: Panel on how issues related to domestic violence permeate all legal practice areas and how to recognize when violence affects clients and colleagues. Distinguished speakers include:

Dr. Paul Wheeler (Batterer's Intervention Program Coordinator, Therapist and Expert Witness)
Assistant State Attorney Brian Rogers
Detective Ted Jones of Gainesville Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit
Day two, Tuesday, April 3rd
STUDENT ORGS SPEAK OUT in the courtyard about the effect of DV on their unique population.

- 12pm in HOL 180 JMBA hosts Mythbusters, Special Edition: Title IX - a Q&A and dialogue for law students".

Nancy Hogshead-Makar, J.D., Title IX Attorney, founder of ChampionWomen, and Olympic gold medalist;
Russel Froman, J.D., University of Florida Title IX Coordinator
