See original movies on a big screen on an afternoon - What more could you want? We’ve put together a weekend of cool Sci-Fi films to show on the big screen in VISUAL to coincide with spring exhibition.

To kick off the weekend is Westworld (1973) on Saturday at 2.30pm. A forerunner for the television series which debuted in October 2016 and stars Yul Brynner. Straight afterwards at 4.30pm Is film no 2. Based on Michael Crichton's 1969 novel of the same name, The Andromeda Strain (1971) is a chilling tale about a US research satellite carrying a deadly extra-terrestrial microscopic organism that crashes into a small town in Arizona.

Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm is the Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) and is considered by some to be among the greatest film remakes of all time. Straight afterwards at 4.30pm (with a 5 minute break!) is Solaris (2002) with George Clooney and directed by Steven Soderbergh.

All films have a PG certificate so are suitable for families under parental guidance. Tickets are €8/6 conc and a weekend pass for all 4 films is only €20. Booking is on the day or through the box office on 059 9172400.
