A specialised two-day public speaking workshop for students in Years 7 - 10 with Sydney's best speech and drama teachers at Viva Voice.
The ability to capture an audience’s attention, hold their focus and keep them engaged is an admirable skill in a young person.
Whether you’re a school leader, representing your school at an event, or preparing for an English oral assessment, you need to hone your presentation and speaking skills. From speaking clearly to structuring a strong argument, this workshop will challenge you to step your public speaking skills up a notch and deliver a speech with impact. Most importantly, learn strategies for impromptu speaking so that when it comes to speaking on the spot, you’re ready to get your game on.
Parents, this workshop is ideal for students who are ready to extend their impromptu speaking skills, learn a variety of ways to structure a speech, and discover new ways to maintain audience engagement. Special focus will be given to clarity of speech, volume and vocal dynamics. This workshop is recommended for senior students in weekly Voice and Acting™ classes, especially those preparing for Grade 4 and above AMEB or Trinity Exams.
