A specialised two-day public speaking workshop with Sydney's best speech and drama teachers at Viva Voice.
If your child is aiming for school captain, wants to be colour house leader, or wants to represent the school in the regional public speaking competition, this is a workshop they don’t want to miss.
Students will learn techniques for presenting with structure, style and confidence, so that the audience are hooked from start to finish. They'll discover ways to engage the audience, learn about the different styles of speeches, and how to use gesture to enhance what you’re saying.
If your child is an old hand at public speaking, our tutors will challenge them to extend their existing skills so that they stay front of the pack.
Your child will learn the essentials of public speaking from structuring a speech, posture, eye contact, using palm cards and vocal expression. Specific attention will be paid to ensuring adequate volume and energy are being used when presenting. This workshop is recommended for students looking to join our signature Voice and Acting™ classes and aims to extend the skills of existing Voice and Acting™ students.
