Spring has sprung and with the new season comes lots of wonderful berries. Strawberries are a favourite all around the world, and Korea is no exception. There are several festivals that end up teeming with people and the awful traffic to get there and back mean that the day is mostly spent cooped up on a bus. With this in mind we have decided to avoid the hustle and bustle of the crowds and visit a strawberry farm instead. If you join us you will get to participate in some wonderful traditional Korean experiences sample some locally produced food and try out some fun activities. You will also have a chance to visit Freshwater fish museum and bungee jumping.

We will head out of Seoul bright and early and make our way straight to the bungee jumping platform. Here you will be taken up 53 metres above the river to where you can jump, attached to a bungee of course and this is optional event. It costs 35,000on, add 10,000won more if your weight is over 88kg. The view as you jump is spectacular, so don’t close your eyes, you won’t want to miss this.

Next we will move to a lovely little farm village in Yangpyeong. Once there we will have time to pick and eat organic strawberries. You will be given a plastic bag to take 500g of strawberries home with you, but as you pick them, you are more than welcome to eat them too.

We will also get to bake Korean strawberry bread, ride a ATV and raft, play traditional games. For a bit extra there will be the chance to ride a remodeled tractor,

One of the main events before we head back to Seoul is Korean pancake (파전) making along with all you can drink makeoli (막걸리). Both items made with fresh local ingredients. You are sure to taste the difference. And all these activity fees are included in the trip price.

You will also have some free time to walk around the beautiful village, the reservoir and nearby creek, and relax under the old chestnut trees. The villagers are going out of their way to accommodate us and provide us with a day of fun and food.

This is going to be a great day of food, fun and relaxation, so why not grab a some friends sign up now and join us on the day.

See you all soon!
