You know that day when one of your staff has called to say that they are not going to be for a few weeks because of a family emergency or illness. Everyone looks at each other with panic in their eyes because now they have to try and figure out what this person does. Join Cathy for this hour session where she will help to break down the important information that you need to capture to ensure that your organization can continue to do the work you do without too much disruption.

Contents of a general introduction - to step by step instruction
Supportive documentation like screenshots

If you would like to bring an example of an activity that you would like to write procedures for please bring it along. This lunch and learn will be great for administrative assistants or anyone in your organization who is the gatekeeper for this type of information.
About the facilitator:
Cathy Carphin has extensive administrative experience, both as a Human Resources Practitioner with government and administrative generalist in the non-profit sector. This includes developing policies and procedures manuals at the organizational level and for the individual workstation. Currently, Cathy is the administrative coordinator at the Greater Victoria Coalition to End Homelessness.
