Are you ready for Spring? Join us Saturday, April 14 from 10 to 11:30 AM at the Wade House Visitor Center for “Cozy Quilts Story and Activity Time”! Families with children between 5 to 10 years of age are invited to discover tales of quilts and coverlets with Bookworm Gardens and the Wade House. This family program will include storytelling, crafts and other fun activities that tie into the art of quilting. No pre-registration required - walk-ins welcome!

“Cozy Quilts Story and Activity Time” is being held in conjunction with a special exhibit titled “Over Land, Under Cover: Tales of Quilts and Coverlets and their Journeys to Wisconsin, 1830-1880”, which is currently on display at the Wade House visitor center.

The family program is included in the cost of general admission to Wade House Historic Site. Admission is: Adults $7; Students/Senior Citizens $6; Children (5-17) $3.50; Family (2 adults and two or more dependent children ages 5 - 17) $19. Doors will open by 9:30 AM for the 10 AM start time.
