Waipahu Talk Story

Our event will be a learn and share. DURP student groups will share out on what weʻve worked on so far based on what we understand the community wants and needs are, and we are seeking input from the community on our programs.

Our objective is to provide policy and program recommendations to the State regarding State lands along the rail corridor to support current and future community needs. We are researching design elements such as affordable housing, walkability, place-making and urban design elements, and economic development.
This work is an ongoing collaboration between multiple university departments and the UH Community Design Center. Waipahu has been selected as a high priority for input.

Where: Waipahu United Church of Christ
When: Thursday, April 12, 5:30p-9p.

Free and open to the public. Light pupus, giveaways.
