REProduce Drones at Walkin Studios
Saturday, 7th April 2018, 8-?? PM

**Donor Passes available at the door at INR300**

On Saturday, April 7th, New Delhi based music collective REProduce Artists will revisit Bangalore by showcasing a two hour experience focused on drones, tones, space, and colour. Inspired by their REProduce Listening Room series, REProduce Drones will present a longer duration for individuals to find their own pace in a public performance, guided primarily by where the areas around and within suggest.

As always, the series REProduce curates and produces aim to fill a gap in the ever iterating and increasingly varied community of live music in India by showcasing talent that might not get heard in the more mainstream oriented venues. Our goal is to allow our patrons to focus purely on the music – in a space where an audience can absorb sound on their own terms.

For this event, we are going to attempt something a little different - along with two extended sets from two musicians, we will also host a live taping of Locally Sourced. On site will also be #disintegratedcinema.

Sound Childe (Bangalore, India)

"Sound Childe is a 'bassist-ordinaire' turned DIY-electronica experimentalist who prefers to build his own synthesizers, fx pedals and other strange electronic music devices, for creating sounds inspired by various electronica pioneers from the past century. His music usually ranges from being dreamy all the way to alternative & grunge, but more recently, his focus has shifted to Synthgaze and 80's inspired New Wave Retro."

Watashi (Bangalore, India)

“Watashi is a Bangalore based drumnbass producer and DJ. His move from Delhi to Bangalore, five years ago, to work as a sound engineer, exposed him to new genres of music and other talented musicians which has helped him to hone his own unique sound. Taking inspiration from neurofunk artists like Mefjus, Noisia and Emperor, his style is aggressive with " In your face" bass, hard-hitting drums and thought provoking experimental passages. Having played some underground gigs with other artists in Bangalore, Watashi is slowly making his presence felt in the drumnbass scene.”

He won’t be playing drum and bass.

Vishal Kumaraswamy (Bangalore, India)

"Vishal Kumaraswamy is a Bangalore based visual artist who works primarily with a strange theory of his called #disintegratedcinema. As an extension of it, he creates live visuals with musicians (but also a lot on his own) and sometimes site specific interventions. "
