The Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots, non-profit, environmental organization that works for the enjoyment and protection of our oceans, waves and beaches.
Founded in 1984, the Surfrider Foundation’s most important coastal environmental work is carried out by more than 60 chapters located along the East, West, Gulf, Puerto Rican and Hawaiian coasts.
Alliance for a Living Ocean's mission is to promote and maintain clean water and a healthy coastal environment through education, research and active participation. We recognize the need to manage our entire watershed, bay and ocean holistically since all water flows from “the raindrop to the ocean.” Visit http://www.livingocean.org/ for more information!
