This year we were lucky and blessed to secure an amazing event space for what we think is going to be an epic event, the Warren Wildlife Gallery! This event will have a capacity which is why we are pushing people to make a donation for their tickets before the event online. Once all ticket sales are final, we unfortunately won't be able to let anyone else in to respect the Gallery's capacity restraints.

We will have food and adult beverages catered that evening for everyone who attends. We will be keeping you posted on our food and drinks so will let you know as soon as we get that confirmed.

We will be putting together some games such as a putt putt competition (yes, there is a chipping and putting green here) and a laser shoot competition (this place is awesome) where the winner will win some prizes. We will announce prizes as they become available.

At the Warren Wildlife Gallery, their mission is to provide an unmatched wildlife experience, educate the youth and community, and promote hunting and conservation.

Mr. Warren has opened his home to share a unique collection with the community. This museum-like exhibition surpasses other displays by providing a rare approach to wildlife. From all around the world, this collection acknowledges more than 500 mammals and over 400 exotic birds.

ABOUT THE AUSTIN SUNSHINE CAMPS:

Mission: Engaging and empowering youth through education and outdoor experiences.

Vision: Igniting infinite possibilities for Austin’s youth

Since we welcomed our first campers in 1928, the Austin YMBL Sunshine Camps has opened a world of possibilities to the youth of Central Texas by providing free week-long summer camps to low-income families. Note that campers must qualify for the Texas public school free and reduced lunch program to be eligible to attend summer camp.

Our Zilker Park camp is located inside Zilker Park near Barton Springs Pool; it serves campers 7 – 11 years of age. The camp program, under the supervision of experienced counselors, offers activities such as swimming in Barton Springs or Deep Eddy pool, fishing, canoeing, handicrafts, nature study, hikes, games, and a ropes course with a variety of elements including a team wall, and trust fall. Transportation to camp and three meals a day is included.

Campers take home increased confidence and leadership abilities, better problem-solving skills, and friendships that last a lifetime. They learn to resolve conflicts, value diversity, and to share in the success of the group. Fun becomes the foundation on which courage, self-respect, cooperation, and leadership are built.
