Enjoy the beauty of the spring awakening of the beech-maple hardwood forest with botanist and Harbor Country Hikers member Arch Hopkins. Learn about the abundant wildflowers that will coat the forest floor and the unique characteristics of the climax forest. Hope for some warm April days to bring out the flowers.

Warren Woods is one of the last climax beech-maple forest in Michigan. We will be walking under specimens up to 125 feet tall and with girths greater than 5 feet in diameter. Join the Experience!
